The St. Joseph County Commission on Aging (COA) approached Frederick Construction with a proposal to adapt the former Three Rivers Inn, vacant for over a decade, into a senior center sharing space with affordable senior apartments. This project involved converting this empty 74,000 square foot space into 46 apartments, a commercial grade kitchen for Meals on Wheels and the relocated COA administrative offices. The updated facility hosts the COA enrichment program, and resident amenities include a café, workout area and lounge.
