Taste restaurant underwent an interior renovation, bringing a fresh look to the restrooms and dining area—which features a new bar to offer an exciting addition to the dining experience.

Village of Vicksburg New Village Offices

Vicksburg, MI

Ongoing

Construction of the new Vicksburg Village Offices boasts new interior and exterior renovations. Inside the facility, cutting-edge technology was incorporated for village council meetings with public live streaming, dedicated office space and a state-of-the-art police department. Exterior renovations include landscaping, paving and the installation of a new digital sign at the entryway.

Oswalt Park

Vicksburg, MI

Completed 2022

Located in the heart of downtown Vicksburg, Oswalt Park’s renovation was supported by the local community through a crowdfunding campaign that was matched by a grant awarded by the MEDC Public Spaces Community Places program. Improvements included new sidewalks, public seating areas, trellis, large gas fireplace, lighting, park sign and landscaping.

Niles Community Health Center

Niles, MI

Completed 2019

Construction of the 31,000-square-foot Niles Community Health Center showcases building and site concrete, exterior brick veneer, structural steel, massive timber trusses, cold-formed framing, asphalt paving, interior finishes and new mechanical systems. Inside, the lobby features an exposed wood plank vaulted ceiling with custom casework and trims, as well as 26 exam rooms to support Behavioral, OB and Physician services with an on-site pharmacy that offers drive-through access.

Frederick Construction completed interior renovations of Motan's 5,800-square-foot office space, as well as minor improvements to the exterior to improve the building's aesthetic appeal.

Kalamazoo, MI

Frederick Construction worked closely with the owner, architect and consultants to take this vision for Custom Metal Fabrication Division of R.W. LaPine, Inc. from concept to completion.

The well-known Mackenzies Bakery, formerly housed in Kalamazoo, was brought to Vicksburg and forged a new home in the beloved Doris Lee Sweet Shop building.

The Kalamazoo Creamery, rising from a vacant brownfield, is a 59,420-square-foot, three-story mixed-use building.

The Mill at Vicksburg is a massive restoration and renovation project intended to bring the former Lee Paper Mill back to life with a new purpose.

Frederick Construction converted an Old Bobby's Drive-In into new offices for Trust Shield Insurance Group. This project boasts a fully transformed exterior facade complete with updated landscaping, a pergola and outdoor gathering areas for employees and customers.

Arbor Financial Credit Union

Kalamazoo, MI

Completed 2019

Arbor Financial Credit Union is a new 3,500-square-foot facility boasting a 22-foot entryway that floods the space with natural light.

St. Joseph County COA Senior Housing & Activity Center

Three Rivers, MI

Completed 2019

The St. Joseph County Commission on Aging (COA) approached Frederick Construction with a proposal to adapt the former Three Rivers Inn, vacant for over a decade, into a senior center sharing space with affordable senior apartments.

Glen Oaks Community College Student Housing

Centreville, MI

Completed 2018

Glen Oaks Community College awarded Frederick Construction with the opportunity to complete a 41,600 square foot framed, three-story dormitory on their campus.

Climax Scotts Schools 2023 Bond

Climax, MI

Beginning Summer 2024

This multi-year project will consist of improvements and new additions to the district's elementary, junior/senior high school and intermediate buildings. The Frederick Construction team will also make significant improvements to the athletic and technology departments.

Athens Area Schools Sinking Fund

In June 2015, Athens Area Schools awarded a 5-year contract for construction management services to Frederick Construction.

Vicksburg Community Schools 2020 Bond

Vicksburg, MI

Ongoing

The Vicksburg Community Schools (VCS) 2020 Bond is a district-wide project that includes renovating the administration building, various school buildings and the high school stadium with new roofs, technology, furniture, HVAC systems, electrical services and athletic fields. As a CMA, Frederick Construction is managing the project, identifying needs and maximizing budget use.
